Ms Lara Vassia

Ms Lara Vassia is an accomplished Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon who provides comprehensive diagnostic and surgical care for a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions. With extensive expertise encompassing hand and upper limb procedures, trauma care, microsurgical reconstruction, and joint replacement, she delivers tailored treatment plans to help patients restore mobility, alleviate pain, and improve their quality of life. Ms Vassia graduated with a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Verona Medical School in 2000, before completing specialist postgraduate training in orthopaedic and trauma surgery in 2005. She further enhanced her surgical skills by obtaining a diploma in microsurgery from the École de Chirurgie in Paris in 2004. To deepen her clinical specialisation, she completed advanced fellowship training in the United Kingdom across multiple disciplines, including paediatric hand surgery, spinal surgery, hip revision surgery, and peripheral nerve injury repair. She has been listed on the General Medical Council Specialist Register since 2008.
