Ms Kulvinder Kaur Talewar

Ms Kulvinder Kaur Talewar is a highly specialised physiotherapist with extensive experience in the treatment of complex vestibular disorders, neurological conditions, and balance issues. She established a new adult vestibular service within the NHS in 2007 and has since dedicated 25 years to working in adult neurology. In addition to delivering vestibular rehabilitation, Ms Talewar plays a key role in designing ENT referral pathways in collaboration with ENT consultants, ensuring that patients receive prompt access to specialist physiotherapy services. For the past 20 years, she has served as the Clinical Lead for Vestibular Rehabilitation in the NHS, providing exemplary support and training.

Ms Talewar also contributed as an executive member of the Association of Chartered Physiotherapists interested in Vestibular Rehabilitation (ACPIVR) from 2007 to 2014, where she was instrumental in raising awareness and promoting the latest evidence-based practices. In her private practice, she offers physiotherapy services to patients with a diverse range of balance and neurological conditions, both in outpatient settings and in-home care.

Her expertise in neurological rehabilitation is further underpinned by her Master’s degree from Brunel University, with her dissertation published in 2019. Recognised internationally, she was invited to present her research at the World Confederation of Physical Therapy (WCPT) 2017 in Cape Town and continues to serve as an abstract reviewer for WCPT. More recently, she established a Paediatric Concussion and Dizziness service in 2019 and currently works as a specialist at Wellington Hospital in London.
