Dr Komala Vadivelu is an experienced Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon specialising in comprehensive vision care and medical retina conditions. With a dedicated focus on protecting and restoring sight, she provides high-quality diagnostic and therapeutic care for patients experiencing a wide range of eye disorders. Dr Vadivelu also serves as a Clinical Lead for diabetic eye screening services, where she oversees clinical standards, image grading, and early detection pathways to protect patients from sight-threatening complications.

Her clinical practice encompasses the diagnosis and management of complex retinal disorders, including diabetic retinopathy, macular oedema, and retinal vein occlusion. Dr Vadivelu is highly skilled in advanced diagnostic imaging techniques, such as optical coherence tomography (OCT) scan interpretation and slit lamp examinations.
