Dr Khin Myint

Dr Khin Myint is a dedicated Consultant Endocrinologist specialising in diabetes, endocrinology, and general medicine. With a clinical approach focused on patient-centred care, she works closely with individuals to help them understand and effectively manage complex hormonal and metabolic conditions. Dr Myint is committed to delivering tailored treatment plans that support long-term health and improve quality of life.

Her clinical practice encompasses a broad spectrum of endocrine and metabolic disorders. Dr Myint has a particular interest in the medical management of obesity, insulin pump therapy, thyroid disorders, and adrenal conditions such as resistant hypertension. Additionally, she leads specialist transition services designed to support young adults moving from paediatric diabetes care to adult specialist services, ensuring continuous and reassuring support during key life transitions.

Dr Myint completed her primary medical degree in Yangon, Myanmar, before undertaking postgraduate general medical training in the UK. She subsequently completed higher specialist training in diabetes, endocrinology, and clinical pharmacology, alongside clinical research focusing on obesity and cardiovascular risk. She is a member of the Royal College of Physicians (London), Diabetes UK, and the Society for Endocrinology.
