Everyone at the Schoen Clinic is extremely friendly, helpful and kind. During my first visit I was very nervous but was quickly put at ease by the staff. All the clinicians that I have worked with have been absolutely fantastic and the experience has genuinely been transformative.

Addiction

After going to the priory and having an awful experience finding Ian was an absolute life saver. Working through various elements of my addiction and learning the science of the brain just made understanding how I was feeling so much simpler. There were challenges along the way, a lot of soul searching but Ian was there all the way.  
I recently had a relapse but our relapse plan was executed exactly as we planned it, a message was answered quickly and even on a Saturday Ian made the time to talk me through it all. 
I recommend Ian very highly, saved me from imploding and given me new energy and thought processes. Thanks very much!

Group Therapy

The combination of group therapy, one to one sessions and continued aftercare is really working well for me, after years of battling my addiction, I am finally discovering some peace. I’ve learnt so much about myself and my triggers and I feel much more equipped to deal with the cravings my addiction brings. 

Anorexia

My experience with Orri has been fantastic. From the moment I walked through the door, I was made to feel welcome. The entire team have been professional, accommodating and genuinely exceptional in the quality of care provided. The environment feels safe and very pro-recovery; I feel Orri have definitely been instrumental in enabling my recovery and allowing me to feel heard at every stage of my treatment. I’ve been especially impressed with how the staff have facilitated open dialogue and owned mistakes when they’ve been made. 

Without doubt, Orri has saved my life.

I had a great experience with Mark. My previous therapist had taken me in the wrong direction for my condition and was determined to stay on that path.  Mark listened and let me find my own path, using his experience and care to guide me on the way. 
He was also very clear that our work should have a timeline and a beginning and end. I found that refreshing, particularly as someone with OCD, who didn't need to keep speaking about the condition ad infinitum!
I would happily recommend Mark and would certainly be keen to return to his practice for any future therapy needs.
