Mrs Kathryn Ford

Kathryn Ford is a highly experienced Senior Orthotist, delivering specialist orthotic care across the North West of England. She qualified in 2012 from the University of Salford and has spent the past 13 years working within both NHS and private settings, gaining broad expertise in managing complex musculoskeletal and neurological conditions.

Kathryn is HCPC registered, a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists, and maintains up-to-date training in areas such as Basic Life Support, Moving and Handling, and Information Governance. Her approach is grounded in a strong understanding of biomechanics and the effective use of orthoses to improve function, reduce pain, and correct deformity.

With a passion for innovation, Kathryn specialises in modern orthotic technologies including 3D-printed devices, carbon fibre orthoses, and silicone-based solutions. She has advanced skills in 3D scanning and the design of bespoke orthoses tailored to the individual, whether treating children with neurological disorders, adults with spinal or foot and ankle injuries, or athletes needing sport-specific orthotic support.

Kathryn is known for her collaborative, patient-centred approach. She works closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure each individual receives the most appropriate and effective care, combining cutting-edge solutions with a compassionate and professional manner.
