Dr Katherine Goyder

Dr Katherine Goyder is a dedicated Consultant Paediatrician who provides expert, compassionate medical care for infants, children, and young people. She adopts a patient-centred approach to child healthcare, ensuring that families receive clear guidance, empathetic support, and reassuring advice throughout every stage of a child's care journey.

Dr Goyder possesses broad expertise across acute paediatric care, with primary clinical interests in paediatric high dependency care, paediatric epilepsy, and seizure management. She is also actively involved in modern paediatric healthcare delivery, including hospital-at-home models and virtual ward services that enable young patients to receive high-quality treatment safely in the comfort of their home environment.

Dr Goyder earned her medical degree from the University of Southampton before completing her higher specialist Paediatric training within the Wessex Deanery. To build further expertise in complex paediatric conditions, she completed an additional specialist module in High Dependency Care during her postgraduate training and subsequently undertook specialised paediatric epilepsy training with the British Paediatric Neurology Association.
