Dr Karl Walker-Finch is a passionate and experienced dentist. He is dedicated to providing care from routine dentistry to complex smile makeovers including dental implants in a friendly environment with the support of a brilliant team at Smiles in Tandem, Huddersfield.

Karl is also a mentor and lecturer on the Masters in Dental Implantology at The University of Salford and can regularly be found inspiring the next generation of young dentists with his passion and enthusiasm for giving patients back confidence in their smiles.

Karl's calming manner is well known and loved amongst his patients, and in particular from anxious patients who may have put off seeing a dentist for many years. He does everything possible to ensure that every patient's needs are met, including reducing dental anxiety in the moment and for the future, to make sure his patients have healthy teeth and a smile they can be proud of.

Karl is passionate about continuing professional development (CPD) as a means to always offer the best possible treatment for his patients, with the latest dental knowledge and training. Since graduating in 2010 he has completed over 2000 hours of CPD in addition to working full time; a clear demonstration of his dedication. This means that his repertoire of treatments is broad, allowing him to draw on many potential treatment options to find the right one for each patient.

Outside of dentistry, Karl enjoys spending time with his young family. He enjoys playing piano and guitar, playing badminton and practising yoga.
