Dr. Faizan Zaheer

Dr Faizan Zaheer is a dentist with a special interest in periodontics, currently practising at Smile Stylist. He is dedicated to the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of periodontal disease, helping patients achieve and maintain healthy gums while preserving their natural teeth through evidence-based, patient-centred care.

Dr Zaheer graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from the National University of Ireland in 2009 before completing a Master's degree in Dental Research. Throughout his academic career, he received several undergraduate awards and scholarships, including the prestigious national H.H. Stuart Prize in Dentistry in recognition of his outstanding achievements.

Alongside his clinical practice, Dr Zaheer is actively involved in research and education. He has authored several publications on gum grafting techniques and continues his research interests through the University of Manchester. He also teaches qualified dentists in the fields of periodontology and peri-implantitis, sharing his expertise to support the ongoing development of dental professionals.

In addition to his clinical and academic work, Dr Zaheer serves as a Regional Clinical Dental Lead for Bupa Dental Care, where he helps maintain high standards of patient care across the region. Outside dentistry, he enjoys playing both classical and electric guitar and is a keen football player and supporter.
