Dr. Neil Patel

Dr Neil Patel is a Manchester-based Specialist Oral Surgeon with a focus on dental implant treatment. Dr Patel accepts referrals to manage a broad range of surgical conditions including:

• Dental implants including bone grafting / sinus lifts
• Removal of teeth and roots
• Removal of impacted teeth and wisdom teeth
• Surgical endodontics (apicectomy)
• Orthodontic exposures/extractions

He has extensive experience in intravenous sedation which may be beneficial for anxious patients.

Dr Patel is currently a Consultant Oral Surgeon and Senior Lecturer at the University Dental Hospital in Manchester where he teaches students and trainees as well as qualified dentists. He is also actively involved in research. He has lectured internationally and has published in multiple journals. Dr Patel has a passion for medical education and is a member of the Faculty of Dental Trainers and the Academy of Medical Educators.

Dr Patel graduated with an Honours degree from the University of Manchester in 2007. He then completed a Masters degree in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery before undertaking his specialist training in oral surgery.

Dr Patel continues to keep his knowledge up-to-date through extensive postgraduate education. He has been awarded his Fellowship in Dental Surgery and Fellowship of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.
