Dr Karen Dyker

Dr Karen Dyker is a Consultant Clinical Oncologist who provides dedicated and reassuring care for individuals navigating cancer diagnoses. Specialising in non-surgical oncology, she focuses on delivering advanced, evidence-based treatments tailored to the unique needs of each individual. Dr Dyker works collaboratively within multidisciplinary medical teams to ensure that every patient receives comprehensive care, transparent communication, and empathetic guidance throughout their treatment journey.

Her areas of clinical interest include the management of head and neck cancers, thyroid tumours, upper gastrointestinal malignancies, and skin cancers. She also has expertise in caring for teenage and young adult oncology patients. Dr Dyker is experienced in delivering complex systemic anti-cancer therapies, including chemotherapy and immunotherapy, alongside advanced radiation treatments such as adaptive image-guided radiotherapy. Dr Dyker completed her medical training and earned her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) degrees, later attaining a Doctorate of Medicine (MD).
