Dr Juliette Oakley

Dr Juliette Oakley is a dedicated Consultant Paediatrician who specialises in paediatric respiratory medicine. She provides comprehensive, compassionate, and patient-centred care for infants, children, and young people presenting with a wide range of respiratory disorders. Dr Oakley works closely with families to deliver accurate diagnoses, structured treatment plans, and ongoing support designed to optimise respiratory health and improve quality of life for young patients.

Her clinical interests cover a broad spectrum of paediatric chest and lung conditions, with particular focus on severe asthma, cystic fibrosis, and chronic respiratory illnesses requiring long-term ventilation. As a Paediatric Respiratory Specialist, she routinely manages complex airway conditions, lower respiratory tract infections, bronchiolitis, and sleep-related breathing disorders, including obstructive sleep apnoea. Her procedural skills include performing flexible bronchoscopy to evaluate airway health and interpreting sleep study findings to guide effective long-term clinical management.

Dr Oakley obtained her medical degree, Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MB BCh), and went on to achieve Membership of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (MRCPCH). She is fully registered with the General Medical Council and holds Specialist Registration with a Certificate of Completion of Training in Paediatric Respiratory Medicine. Alongside her direct clinical work, Dr Oakley contributes to medical research and multidisciplinary team meetings, helping to advance clinical standards and ensure evidence-based care across all areas of her practice.
