Dr Julie Savin

Dr Julie Savin is a dual-qualified Dentist and Medical Practitioner who provides comprehensive oral healthcare. Combining expertise in Dentistry, Oral Surgery, and Oral Medicine, Dr Savin focuses on delivering tailored clinical care in a calm and reassuring environment. She is skilled in managing complex oral procedures and routinely utilises intravenous sedation to support anxious patients during treatment.

Dr Savin earned her Bachelor of Dental Surgery from Dundee University in 1990, later completing a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at the University of Glasgow in 2001. She pursued advanced postgraduate qualifications, obtaining a Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in Oral Medicine and Oral Surgery in 2005 and Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2006. She is a member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, the British Medical Association, and the Association of Dental Implantology UK, and she serves as a Surgical Tutor and mentor for the International Team for Implantology.

Throughout her professional career, Dr Savin has served as a Surgical Specialist in primary care and as a Specialty Doctor involved in teaching trainee dental surgeons. Her rare dual qualifications in both medicine and dentistry allow her to take a holistic, thorough approach to oral health. Dr Savin remains committed to upholding high standards of patient care across implantology, surgical extractions, and the diagnosis and management of soft tissue conditions.
