Dr Jonathan Lai

We had an amazing experience with Dr Lai, who delivered our twin boys in February at the Lindo Wing. Upon meeting him for the first time, we immediately felt reassured by his calm and confident manner. We were especially keen to find a doctor with extensive experience in twin deliveries, and Dr Lai exceeded all our expectations. We really appreciated his honest and reassuring approach throughout the pregnancy. On the day of the birth, everything felt calm and smooth — I didn’t feel nearly as nervous as I had expected to, and I truly believe that was thanks to Dr Lai and his team being so calm, professional, and supportive throughout the entire experience. The c section itself was so quick and the scar is so small. During our stay in hospital, Dr Lai checked on us regularly to see how I was doing, which we really appreciated. I was extremely happy with the level of care and service we received and wouldn’t hesitate to use his services again should we have another baby. Our stay at the Lindo Wing was wonderful, and all the staff were so attentive and lovely throughout.

Dr. Lai has been outstanding throughout the entire pregnancy. This was our first baby after a previous miscarriage, and Dr. Lai was incredibly reassuring from the very beginning and helped make the whole pregnancy feel smooth and manageable. During labour, he was exceptionally supportive, and his skill contributed greatly to a fast delivery and a quick recovery for the mother. We are truly delighted with the care we received and deeply grateful for his professionalism

Towards the end, my pregnancy became a bit complicated but I was able to breeze through it because of the incredible support provided by Dr. Lai and his team. Not only was he able to put me at ease, he was direct in his communication and expectation management and walked myself and my husband through every detail and even took the time out to explain everything to our families. Dr Lai has had this point become our household favourite and I’m super grateful to have met him and have been in his care. Thank you Dr. Lai, truly!

Dr. Lai is very professional and calm. As a first time mom, he gave a lot of reassurance for my worries and concern. He also offered. lot of flexibility to tailor our needs. I felt secured to have my c section with him. After the operation, my wound also healed perfectly. If we were to have our second baby, I would definitely go back to him!

I have had the most fantastic experience with Jonathan for both my births. The first one ended up being an emergency c-section and I could not have been in better hands. It was all so calm with excellent communication throughout.

I cannot recommend Mr Lai highly enough. He cared for me from 12 weeks and delivered my baby via C-section at The Lindo. Given my history of miscarriages, I was extremely anxious at the start of my pregnancy, but Mr Lai’s care and reassurance throughout helped me relax and feel confident that I was in the very best hands. The regular, detailed scans and his clear, balanced explanations were incredibly comforting. He was always accessible, took the time to answer all of my questions, and never made me feel rushed or dismissed. I am also very happy with my C-section recovery and scar. I would additionally like to mention that his secretary is wonderful—always helpful and very easy to get in touch with. I am truly grateful for the care I received and would not hesitate to recommend Mr Lai.

Dr Lai is absolutely AMAZING! I am the kind of person that is absolutely mortified by anything related to hospitals and yet my elective C-section was so smooth I could not believe it. Dr Lai made me feel so relaxed and confident throughout the entire pregnancy that I could not believe it myself...THANK YOU!!

My experience of Dr Kai's care throughout my pregnancy and the birth of my child was excellent. I particularly appreciated that he was always open to answering questions and provided clear responses and explanations so I could get a good understanding of my situation, the various options for childbirth, and the risk and considerations related to each of them.
