Dr John Loftus

Dr John Loftus is a dedicated Consultant Community Paediatrician specialising in the medical care, health promotion, and developmental support of children and young people. With extensive clinical expertise in community child health, Dr Loftus provides compassionate, child-centred care tailored to the unique needs of infants, children, and adolescents. His practice focuses on guiding families through complex healthcare pathways, ensuring that each child receives holistic support to thrive at every stage of development.

Dr Loftus holds full registration on the General Medical Council Specialist Register for Paediatrics, having completed higher specialist training with sub-specialty recognition in community paediatrics and neurodisability. Demonstrating a sustained commitment to clinical excellence, evidence-based medicine, and clinical governance, Dr Loftus also contributes actively to medical education. He mentors and supervises junior doctors and specialty trainees in paediatric medicine, supporting the professional development of future clinicians.
