Dr John Adams

Dr John Adams is a highly regarded Consultant Anaesthetist who specialises in providing expert anaesthetic care for complex surgical procedures. With a primary clinical focus on neuro-anaesthesia and intensive care, he is dedicated to ensuring patient safety, comfort, and optimal recovery throughout the perioperative period. His reassuring approach and clinical expertise help to put patients at ease during what can often be a stressful time.

In addition to his clinical practice, Dr Adams holds significant leadership responsibilities within the healthcare sector. He serves as a Medical Director for Governance and Risk, as well as a Deputy Chief Medical Officer. In these roles, he provides vital guidance on medicolegal matters, clinical risk management, and patient safety. He is also actively involved in medical education, helping to train and mentor the next generation of medical professionals.

Dr Adams completed his medical training at the University of Leeds, qualifying with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery in 1992. He subsequently obtained his Membership of the Royal College of Physicians in London in 1996 and became a Fellow of the Royal College of Anaesthetists in 1999. Committed to the ethical and legal dimensions of medicine, he also holds a master's degree in healthcare ethics and law.
