Dr. Joanna Moser

Dr Joanna Moser is a Consultant Radiologist who specialises in cardiothoracic and thoracic imaging. With extensive clinical expertise in diagnostic imaging of the chest and heart, she delivers thorough and precise evaluations for patients presenting with a wide range of respiratory, cardiovascular, and emergency thoracic conditions. Dr Moser works closely with multidisciplinary clinical teams to ensure accurate diagnosis, characterisation, and ongoing monitoring of complex chest diseases.

Her primary clinical interests encompass advanced computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) of the chest and heart, plain film radiograph interpretation, and point-of-care lung ultrasound. Dr Moser has particular expertise in lung cancer screening, early detection, and post-treatment surveillance, as well as the diagnostic management of diffuse interstitial lung disease, tracheobronchial trauma, and acute thoracic emergencies. In addition to diagnostic reporting, her practice includes performing specialised image-guided diagnostic procedures, such as CT-guided lung biopsies.

Dr Moser earned her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) medical degree and subsequently completed comprehensive specialist training in clinical radiology. She earned Fellowship of the Royal College of Radiologists (FRCR), reflecting her high standard of clinical excellence and professional practice. Alongside her clinical work, Dr Moser maintains an active interest in academic research and professional development, contributing to published literature on chest pathology and participating in national professional radiological organisations.
