About Mr Jiten Parmar
Mr Jiten Parmar is a highly recommended locally trained Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon at Nuffield Health Leeds Hospital. He completed his medical degree at the University of Leeds in 2009, followed by his higher surgical training in the Yorkshire region. As a consultant since 2016, he has earned multiple awards for innovation, 3D planning, teaching, and training at both local and national levels. In addition to his role as an Oral & Maxillofacial Trauma Surgeon at Leeds Teaching Hospitals Trust, where he has been the Maxillofacial Trauma lead since 2016, Mr Parmar specialises in orbital (eye socket) surgery, skull base reconstruction, and 3D custom implants. The Leeds department oversees the treatment of approximately 500-650 adult and paediatric patients per year.
Beyond trauma care, Mr Parmar also has special interests cover a range of areas, including facial trauma (including sports injuries), dentoalveolar surgery, deformity, orthognathic jaw deformity surgery, tongue tie, temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorders, salivary pathology, jaw pathology and cyst treatment, orthognathic surgery assessments, oral excision and biopsy, elite sports injuries, and skin surgery.
At Nuffield Health, he offers a variety of treatments and tests, including blood tests, mole removal and skin biopsy, reconstructive surgery, soft tissue lump service, removal of wisdom teeth, head and neck surgery, tooth removal (extraction), submandibular gland removal, oral (dental) imaging, maxillofacial/oral surgery, and frenotomy.
Alongside his clinical work, Mr Parmar is an active contributor to scientific literature, he publishes scientific materials and book chapters while also dedicating time to training future surgeons.

It was mainly a dental problem. Mr Parmar was superb - kind, considerate, extremely knowledgeable and dealt with the issues very well and professionally. We state this as retired medical professionals.

Leeds surgeons perform UK-first tumour removal
Medics have performed a UK-first operation to remove a type of head cancer using keyhole surgery through a patient's eye socket. Mother-of-three Ruvimbo Kaviya had a meningioma removed from the space located beneath the brain and behind the eyes. Many of these types of tumour would have previously been considered inoperable due to where they are situated in a area called the cavernous sinus.
