Dr. Jim Brown

Dr. Jim Brown is a Consultant Respiratory Physician and Sleep specialist with Marylebone Health (CHHP). His training includes significant periods in London, where he conducted pioneering research at University College London, focusing on novel optical diagnostics in respiratory diseases. His research achievements, including a secondment to the Diamond synchrotron particle accelerator facility in Oxford, earned international media attention.

Dr. Brown's academic journey also includes a BSc in exercise physiology integrated into his medical training, reflecting his holistic approach to healthcare. He furthered his education with studies in lifestyle medicine.

Passionate about advancing medical innovation, Dr. Brown has initiated international research collaborations and developed training courses across the UK. Notably, he founded and successfully launched Lungs for Living, a charitable initiative dedicated to supporting respiratory research.

In his clinical practice, Dr. Brown is well-versed in all aspects of respiratory medicine, with specialised expertise in lung cancer and sleep medicine. He completed advanced training in sleep medicine at University College London Hospital (UCLH) and the London Chest Hospital, focusing particularly on sleep optimization techniques. Recently, Dr. Brown furthered his skills by completing a course in cognitive behavioural therapy for insomnia (CBT-I) at Oxford University, enhancing his ability to provide comprehensive care for sleep disorders.

Beyond his professional endeavours, Dr. Brown values time with his family in Greece and remains actively engaged in researching the latest advancements in medical technology.
