Dr Jennifer Sherriff

Dr Jennifer Sherriff is an experienced Consultant Clinical Oncologist who specialises in the non-surgical management and oncological treatment of adult cancers. She is dedicated to delivering evidence-based, compassionate care, ensuring that each patient receives a treatment approach tailored to their individual diagnosis. Her practice focuses on providing advanced non-surgical treatments and precision oncological care to optimise patient outcomes.

Dr Sherriff earned her medical degree (MBChB with Honours) from the University of Birmingham in 2003. She subsequently completed her general internal medicine training, becoming a Member of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP) in 2007. Dr Sherriff then undertook specialist higher training in clinical oncology, attaining Fellowship of the Royal College of Radiologists (FRCR) in 2011. To further enhance her expertise in advanced treatment techniques, she completed the Royal College of Radiologists Kay Fellowship in Toronto, focusing on specialised radiotherapy approaches. She is a recognised Fellow of the Royal College of Radiologists and a Member of the Royal College of Physicians.

Her clinical interests encompass the management of soft tissue and bone sarcomas, breast cancers, and solid tumours. Dr Sherriff possesses particular expertise in advanced radiotherapy techniques, including stereotactic ablative body radiotherapy (SABR) for spinal tumours and bone metastases. Alongside her clinical practice, she participates in oncology research and clinical trial development, working to refine precision radiotherapy procedures and improve long-term therapeutic outcomes for cancer patients.

Working as part of a multidisciplinary team of cancer specialists, Dr Sherriff supports patients through every stage of their diagnostic and treatment pathway. Her empathetic, patient-centred approach ensures clear communication and ongoing reassurance, helping patients and their families make informed decisions about their oncological care.
