Dr Jennifer Braid

Dr Jennifer Braid is a Consultant Radiologist at Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust in Reading. Graduating in medicine from the University of Leicester Medical School in 2000, she completed general medical training in North Staffordshire, earning Membership of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP) in 2004. She went on to complete specialist radiology training in North Staffordshire, becoming a Fellow of the Royal College of Radiologists (FRCR) in 2008.

Following her specialist training, Dr Braid served as a Consultant Radiologist at Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust from 2012 to 2019 before taking up her consultant post at the Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust in 2019. Bringing over two decades of clinical experience to her practice, she is a general radiologist with dedicated subspecialty interests in gastrointestinal (GI) and gynaecological imaging. Her expertise encompasses cross-sectional CT and MRI, abdominal ultrasound, and GI studies, supporting complex pelvic and abdominal diagnostic pathways in close collaboration with multidisciplinary clinical teams. She is a member of the British Society of Gastrointestinal and Abdominal Radiology (BSGAR).
