Dr Jean Egyepong

Dr Jean Egyepong is a dedicated Consultant Paediatrician and Consultant Neonatologist who provides expert, compassionate care for infants, neonates, and young children. With a clinical approach centred on family-focused communication and patient comfort, he offers reassuring support to parents and carers during critical stages of early child development. Dr Egyepong is committed to delivering high-quality, evidence-based healthcare tailored to the unique physiological and developmental needs of every patient.

In his clinical practice, Dr Egyepong focuses on advanced neonatal care, neonatal intensive care, and general paediatrics. His specialist expertise encompasses neonatal resuscitation and stabilisation, mechanical ventilation, therapeutic hypothermia (cooling therapy) for infants with hypoxic-ischaemic encephalopathy, and the management of neonatal seizures. He also manages conditions such as neonatal jaundice, neonatal abstinence syndrome, neonatal cardiology cases, and pre- and postnatal care for infants with congenital anomalies.

Dr Egyepong earned his primary medical qualification, receiving his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB). He subsequently achieved a Master’s in Healthcare Medical Education (MHMEd) and earned a Certificate of Completion of Special Interest (SPIN) in Neonatology. He is a Member of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (MRCPCH), maintaining active professional involvement to ensure his practice aligns with the highest clinical standards in paediatric and neonatal medicine.
