Dr Jared Ching

Dr Jared Ching is an accomplished Consultant Ophthalmologist dedicated to providing high-quality, patient-centred eye care. Specialising in both medical and surgical conditions of the eye, Dr Ching combines thorough clinical expertise with a compassionate approach. He works closely with patients to ensure they receive clear explanations, empathetic guidance, and tailored treatment plans designed to preserve and restore vision.

His clinical practice spans a wide array of ophthalmic disciplines, with particular focus on vitreo-retinal surgery, surgical retina procedures, and ocular oncology. Dr Ching also maintains a keen interest in glaucoma management, neuro-ophthalmology, and the development of novel ocular surgical devices. Dr Ching completed his initial higher education at the University of East Anglia, earning a First-Class Honours Master's degree in Pharmacy. He subsequently obtained his medical degree (MB ChB) from the University of Bristol and completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) focused on neurosciences.
