Dr Jane Halliday

Dr Jane Halliday is a distinguished Consultant Neurosurgeon who provides high-quality, patient-centred care across a broad spectrum of cranial and spinal conditions. Dedicated to supporting individuals throughout their surgical journey and long-term recovery, she adopts a holistic approach to health and well-being. Dr Halliday works closely within multi-disciplinary teams to ensure that each patient receives compassionate, personalised care tailored to their individual clinical needs.

Dr Halliday possesses advanced clinical expertise in complex cranial procedures, with sub-specialised focus on skull base surgery, pituitary disorders, and Neurofibromatosis Type 2 (NF2) management. Her clinical interests include the treatment of benign and malignant intracranial lesions, such as vestibular schwannomas, meningiomas, and craniopharyngiomas. She routinely performs complex operative procedures, including endoscopic pituitary resections, translabyrinthine and retrosigmoid skull base tumour resections, and elective lumbar decompressive surgery. Alongside her elective surgical practice, Dr Halliday provides emergency neurosurgical care for acute traumatic brain injuries and cranial emergencies.

Dr Halliday earned her primary medical degree (MB BChir) and Master of Arts (MA) from the University of Cambridge. Demonstrating a strong commitment to clinical governance and healthcare development, she subsequently obtained a Master of Science (MSc) in Healthcare Leadership from the University of Birmingham. She is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons in Surgical Neurology (FRCS SN) and holds professional membership with the Society of British Neurological Surgeons.
