Dr James Constable is a dedicated Consultant ENT Surgeon who provides expert, patient-centred care across a broad range of ear, nose, and throat conditions. With a refined focus on both elective and emergency otolaryngology, he offers comprehensive clinical assessments and tailored treatment plans designed to alleviate symptoms and restore quality of life. In his clinical practice, Dr Constable maintains specialised expertise in complex head and neck conditions. His primary areas of clinical focus encompass the diagnosis, management, and surgical treatment of benign and malignant head and neck tumours, alongside reconstructive procedures. He regularly performs advanced transoral surgery and treats conditions affecting the larynx, pharynx, salivary glands, and thyroid and parathyroid glands. Whether addressing routine ear, nose, and throat concerns or managing intricate surgical cases, Dr Constable employs modern, evidence-based techniques to achieve optimal outcomes.

Dr Constable earned his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Warwick before completing his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery at the University of Nottingham, qualifying in 2013. He subsequently completed a Master of Science in Healthcare Management, Leadership & Innovation at the University of Plymouth. His postgraduate surgical credentials include the Diploma in Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery (DOHNS) and Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons in Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery (FRCS ORL-HNS) through the Royal College of Surgeons of England. In addition, Dr Constable completed the specialised Shaun Jackson Head & Neck Fellowship at the Liverpool Head & Neck Centre and remains an active Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England.
