Dr Peter Deutsch

Dr Peter Deutsch is an accomplished Consultant ENT Surgeon who offers comprehensive care for a wide range of ear, nose, and throat conditions in adult patients. He holds a sub-specialist focus in head and neck surgery, with particular expertise in the diagnosis and surgical management of thyroid, parathyroid, and salivary gland disorders. As a high-volume surgeon performing complex oncological and reconstructive procedures, Dr Deutsch provides expert care for both benign and malignant conditions across the head and neck.

Dr Deutsch graduated with his medical degree from the University of Birmingham in 2012 and subsequently completed higher specialist training in Otolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery within the West Midlands. Demonstrating clinical excellence, he was awarded the Royal Society of Medicine Gold Medal for his performance in the national intercollegiate surgical examination. He further enhanced his advanced surgical skill set by completing a competitive international fellowship in head, neck, and skull base surgery in Brisbane, Australia, focusing on complex head and neck cancers and advanced endoscopic sinus surgery. His professional credentials include Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS ORL-HNS), Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons (MRCS), Diploma in Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery (DOHNS), Postgraduate Certificate in Medical Education (PGCert MedEd), and Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA).

In addition to his routine surgical practice, Dr Deutsch serves in key leadership roles, including acting as a Head & Neck Cancer Lead and contributing to regional expert advisory groups for head, neck, and thyroid cancers. Alongside his patient care duties, Dr Deutsch is actively involved in clinical research trials, academic publishing, and the education and supervision of postgraduate medical trainees.
