Dr Faisal Javed

Mr Faisal Javed is a Consultant ENT (Otolaryngology) Surgeon with specialist expertise in otology and paediatric ENT. He completed his specialist training in the South West of England and was awarded his Certificate of Completion of Specialist Training (CCST) in Otolaryngology in 2016.

Following this, Mr Javed undertook an Advanced Medical Training Fellowship (AMTF) in West Scotland, where he gained advanced experience in otology, including cochlear implantation and lateral skull base surgery. He subsequently worked as a Consultant ENT Surgeon at the Queen’s Medical Centre in Nottingham before joining the ENT team at University Hospitals Birmingham, based at Heartlands Hospital, in September 2018.

His main clinical interests include general otology in both adults and children, as well as paediatric ENT. He manages a wide range of ear conditions, including hearing loss, chronic ear disease, and balance disorders, alongside general ENT conditions in children.

Mr Javed is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons and a member of the British Association of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery and the British Society of Otology.
