My issue was very embarrassing but MR Wright made me feel at ease with the examination
I had an initial consultation with Dr James Wright and was very impressed with the experience. Dr James Wright was professional, approachable and took the time to listen carefully to my concerns. I felt that everything was explained clearly and I never felt rushed. I came away from the consultation feeling reassured and confident that I was in good hands. I would definitely recommend Dr James Wright to anyone looking for a knowledgeable and caring doctor.
James took the time to listen to all my concerns without rushing me. I felt truly heard and cared for during the whole visit. James is extremely knowledgeable and professional. He followed up with me quickly regarding my test results explaining my options very clearly. Would Highly recommend James.
Very professional, clear whilst being personable highly recommended
I recently met Mr Wright a few weeks ago and was imediately impressed by his manner and interest in my case which put me at ease. He is very easy talk to and explains things very well. We agreed a colonoscopy was the way forward. I attended for the procedure a week later and again was very pleased with the way things went with explanations about what was was happening at every stage, Mr Wright even moved the camera around to show the answer to a question I posed. The nurses were also very good and chatted too me throughout. Although sedation was offered I declined (although it was available if I changed my mind part way through) plus I wanted to see what was on the screen. There was only a very slight discomfort for short periods (only seconds as camera goes round a bend) a bit like sharp wind pain. I have had colonoscopy's before so did have an idea of what goes on which helped. For anyone having a colonoscopy for the first time the procedure sounds far worse that it actually is. I would certainly recomend Mr Wrights care and would not hesitate to see him again. (though hope I don't need too)!
I visited Mr Wright at Spire Wellesley. He was calm, knowledgeable and understanding of my concerns. He arranged further investigations and clearly explained the results, allowing me to take time to understand and ask questions. I could not have asked for a better, more thorough, informative experience.
Mr Wright was fantastic and genuinely reassuring at every step, which made all the difference when I needed it most.
I was GP referred to James for a suspected umbilical hernia. James concurred with that suspicion and I was booked for a CT scan a few days later. Follow up with James confirmed the umbilical hernia (and nothing else sinister) which he will resolve in a few weeks time as a day patient. James is always very efficient and approachable and explains everything that is happening. Having seen James previously for a successful gall bladder removal I was only ever going to be seeing him again for this issue.
I am very happy with my first visit today with Dr Wright. He explained everything very clearly & gave me time to explain my symptoms. I am feeling very positive about the prospect of getting to the bottom of my issues & having a better way of life day to day as an outcome.
If a colonoscopy can be a pleasant experience, then this is a close as you can get. James and all his staff were excellent. Really caring and very thoughtful. Also explained each step and made it as easy as possible. The facility spotless.
Excellent personal professional surgeon.
