Dr Islam Uddin

Dr Islam Uddin is a dedicated Consultant Anaesthetist who provides comprehensive perioperative care for patients undergoing a wide range of surgical procedures. With an unwavering commitment to patient safety and comfort, Dr Uddin focuses on delivering reassuring, patient-centred care tailored to the individual needs of each person. He works closely with surgical teams to ensure that every stage of the surgical journey, from pre-operative assessment to post-operative pain management, is conducted with the highest standard of medical precision.

Dr Uddin completed his undergraduate studies at Queen Mary University of London, graduating with a Bachelor of Science (BSc Hons) in 2009, before earning his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry in 2010. Following the completion of his specialist anaesthetic training in London, he attained Fellowship of the Royal College of Anaesthetists (FRCA) in 2018.

His clinical expertise encompasses orthopaedic anaesthesia and advanced regional anaesthesia techniques. Dr Uddin is particularly skilled in performing nerve blocks, regional sedation, and awake hand surgery under regional anaesthesia, as well as administering total intravenous anaesthesia (TIVA). His targeted approach to pain relief helps minimise post-operative discomfort, facilitating a smooth recovery process. In addition to his clinical responsibilities, Dr Uddin actively contributes to medical education and ongoing professional development to maintain the highest quality of patient care.
