Dr Attam Singh

Dr Attam Singh is a Consultant, specialising in Pain Medicine and currently works as a Clinical Associate of the London Pain Clinic. He is highly experienced in this field having won several awards, including the Clinical Excellence Award for providing safety and care to his patients in Clinical Practice in 2013, and has also won the Health Service Journal Award for Patient Safety in 2014. He works in his Harley Street private practice, as well as the Hip Fracture Unit in West Hertfordshire NHS Trust, in which he has brought about a dynamic pathway in treating hip fractures and this has shown to be depicted across the country.

He is also lead of the Acute Pain department at Watford General Hospital, in which he supervises the Acute Pain team. Dr Singh has worked in hospitals both nationally and internationally, contributing to his experience and expertise. He also enjoys researching neuromodulation to find long-term treatments for neuropathy. Apart from his work he regularly presents his work at conferences and shares his experience and knowledge to trainees and other medical personnel.

He has also been awarded a Fellowship for teaching and demonstrating his procedural techniques on Pain Medicine at the University of Michigan. He is also dedicated in contributing to charities by organising medical outreach treatment centres, in particular in rural India, in which he has treated over 700 people. In his spare time, he enjoys cycling and playing the guitar.
