About Dr Attam Singh
Dr Attam Singh is a Consultant, specialising in Pain Medicine and currently works as a Clinical Associate of the London Pain Clinic. He is highly experienced in this field having won several awards, including the Clinical Excellence Award for providing safety and care to his patients in Clinical Practice in 2013, and has also won the Health Service Journal Award for Patient Safety in 2014. He works in his Harley Street private practice, as well as the Hip Fracture Unit in West Hertfordshire NHS Trust, in which he has brought about a dynamic pathway in treating hip fractures and this has shown to be depicted across the country.
He is also lead of the Acute Pain department at Watford General Hospital, in which he supervises the Acute Pain team. Dr Singh has worked in hospitals both nationally and internationally, contributing to his experience and expertise. He also enjoys researching neuromodulation to find long-term treatments for neuropathy. Apart from his work he regularly presents his work at conferences and shares his experience and knowledge to trainees and other medical personnel.
He has also been awarded a Fellowship for teaching and demonstrating his procedural techniques on Pain Medicine at the University of Michigan. He is also dedicated in contributing to charities by organising medical outreach treatment centres, in particular in rural India, in which he has treated over 700 people. In his spare time, he enjoys cycling and playing the guitar.

Dr Attam Singh introduced himself. My husband was with me. He welcome both of us. He had read my medical file and the MRI report. He asked me to describe how I was feeling. I explained about the extreme pain in my neck and shoulders and how it was in packing my daily life. He examined my shoulder movements and neck movements. I was in a lot of pain at the time and he acknowledged this. He then went on to explain that there was significant tension in the neck muscles, particularly in the trapezius. He explained the way forward was an Cervical epidural and a Botox injection which has great results. He explained the procedure and asked me for my thoughts. I said that I have been in so much pain for the last 3 year's and the effect it has been on my life. I want a normal pain free life. Yes. I would like to proceed with the Epidural and Botox. He said he would arrange for the procedure to be done and add me to the waiting list. He never rushed the appointment and explained everything in the language we both understood and asked if we had any questions.
Very happy with the services of Dr. Singh, his advice and positive attitude gave me confidence ahead of surgery.
