Dr. Ipek Edipoglu

Dr Ipek Edipoglu is a Consultant in Pain Medicine with specialist expertise in the management of complex chronic pain conditions. She provides evidence-based care across a wide spectrum of pain disorders, including spinal pain affecting the neck and back, musculoskeletal and joint pain, neuropathic pain, pelvic and abdominal pain, chronic post-surgical pain and complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS).

Her clinical practice includes a comprehensive range of interventional pain management techniques. She is experienced in ultrasound- and fluoroscopy-guided procedures such as nerve root, facet joint and medial branch blocks, sacroiliac joint injections, peripheral nerve blocks, and hip, knee and shoulder joint injections. She also performs radiofrequency denervation (pulsed and thermal), sympathetic nerve blocks and botulinum toxin injections, alongside intravenous lidocaine infusions and the management of complex pharmacological regimens.

Alongside her clinical role, Dr Edipoglu is active in postgraduate education, teaching and mentoring junior doctors and trainees in pain medicine. She also leads international educational workshops and contributes as both an author and editor for peer-reviewed journals. Her academic interests focus on advancing multidisciplinary approaches to the treatment of chronic pain, integrating pharmacological, physical and psychological therapies.
