Dr. Matthew Brown is professional, friendly, and kind. Patients report he puts them at ease, providing clear explanations. He helps patients with hot flushes, sleep issues, and post-chemotherapy symptoms, including neuropathy. Many patients learn self-needling to manage pain, particularly related to cancer.
I’ve just completed a short course of acupuncture with Dr Brown and I couldn’t be more pleased. The treatments themselves were relaxing and enjoyable. Dr Browns warm personality and calm manner were a tonic after intensive cancer treatment. The acupuncture has been more effective than I’d hoped so that’s been a bonus. I would love to continue treatment with Dr Brown if my insurance allows, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to others.
I have been receiving acupuncture from Dr Brown to help with pain management and ongoing neuropathy in my feet and hands. The sessions are relaxing (whilst listening to soothing music) and overtime noticed changes- less pain, better circulation and improved daily comfort. Dr Brown provided excellent care. He is knowledgeable, compassionate and truly listens. I highly recommend both acupuncture and Dr Brown to anyone considering this therapy-his expertise makes all the difference. Thank you!
I was sceptical that acupuncture would work for me but I’m so glad I gave it a chance. It reduced my hot flushes by around 50%, helped my insomnia and also eased the pain I was experiencing as a result of my breast cancer treatment. When I first saw Dr Brown, I was struggling with the side effects of my breast cancer treatment following a lumpectomy, radiotherapy and hormone therapy. I felt overwhelmed by my symptoms and had started to think I would just have to live with them. From the moment I met Dr Brown, I felt listened to. He has genuine empathy and compassion, takes the time to understand how you’re feeling and has such a reassuring bedside manner. His knowledge and years of experience are obvious and he gave me confidence that things could improve. Thanks to his treatment and support, I feel so much better and have a much better quality of life. I can’t recommend Dr Brown highly enough.
Having visited this doctor several times, I am grateful for his positive attitude, which kept my spirits high during our acupuncture sessions. Beyond creating a warm atmosphere, he showed interest in my broader health situation and was eager to share valuable medical information also outside the field of acupuncture.
I've had a number of sessions with Dr Brown for neuropathy and feel that he is very informative, has a good bedside manner, gives clear instructions, is very approachable and answered a lot of my questions!
Following major surgery, I've had to see several doctors for follow-up appointments, but Mr Brown really stood out. From my first consultation, I felt reassured that I was going to be helped. He listened carefully, took the time to explain everything clearly, and made me feel that my concerns were important. Mr Brown was thorough and ensured I was seen as quickly as possible, which I greatly appreciated. I'm very grateful for the care and support I received and would highly recommend him.
Dr Matthew Brown was friendly and very professional. He put me at ease by explaining everything in a way that I could understand. The treatment itself was really helpful and alleviated my pain successfully.
Dr Brown was thorough, professional and friendly. I felt reassured that he had a solid plan.
Asked direct questions, examined the correct areas of my anatomy in question. Gave concise and correct summary of the problem and discussed in detail the proposed medication cycle and prognosis of desired results. He is an amazing tool that has a definite place in my toolbox.
Dr Brown is the ultimate professional , personable and has treated me as an individual , tailoring the treatment depending on my feedback . He gave clear instructions when teaching self needling and I came away confident that I was able to complete the process and had a good understanding of how it works and assists to relieve the pain. Would highly recommended
