Dr Imran Malik

Dr. Imran Malik is an experienced Consultant Endocrinologist with almost 15 years of expertise in managing a wide spectrum of endocrine disorders. He began his career in Diabetes and Endocrinology in 2011 as a specialist trainee in South West London and was appointed as a Consultant Endocrinologist in London in 2016. After spending four years at one of the largest endocrine centers in the UK, Dr. Malik transitioned to his current NHS role in Surrey in 2017.

Dr. Malik is a specialist in the management of endocrine conditions, with particular interest in pituitary, adrenal, thyroid, parathyroid, reproductive endocrinology and electrolyte disorders. He provides comprehensive care for patients with complex endocrine issues and practices multidisciplinary team (MDT) approach to ensure best outcomes for his patients. He contributes to Endocrine-Surgery-Radiology MDTs, Endocrine-Results MDTs, and Diabetes-Foot MDTs, collaborating with specialists across various disciplines to offer holistic and personalised care.

In addition to his endocrinology practice, Dr. Malik is also an Acute Medical Consultant, admitting and managing patients with a broad range of acute medical conditions. This dual role allows him to stay well-versed in general medicine, ensuring his knowledge remains current across different specialties.

Dr. Malik is deeply committed to medical education. He regularly teaches medical students, provides educational supervision to junior doctors, and offers clinical supervision to specialist endocrine trainees.
