Dr Iman Qureshi

Dr Iman Qureshi is a dedicated Consultant Haematologist who provides expert, patient-centred care for individuals experiencing a broad range of blood conditions. She is committed to delivering safe, evidence-based, and compassionate consultations, ensuring that each individual receives a personalised diagnosis and management plan. Dr Qureshi works collaboratively with patients to offer clear explanations, accurate diagnostic evaluations, and advanced treatment options tailored to their specific healthcare needs.

Dr Qureshi earned her primary medical qualification with distinction from Newcastle University in 2011. She completed comprehensive specialist training in haematology, attaining Membership of the Royal College of Physicians in 2013 and Fellowship of the Royal College of Pathologists in 2020. To incorporate the latest scientific advancements into patient care, she subsequently completed a Master's degree in Genomic Medicine at the University of Exeter. Dr Qureshi holds professional memberships with the Royal College of Physicians, the Royal College of Pathologists, the British Society for Haematology, and the European Haematology Association. She is also recognised for her commitment to medical education, having achieved formal accreditation as an Educator and Supervisor with the Royal College of Physicians.

Her clinical focus encompasses both general haematological disorders and complex haematological malignancies. Dr Qureshi has significant expertise in managing myeloid conditions, including acute and chronic leukaemias and myeloproliferative disorders, as well as lymphoproliferative diseases, chronic lymphocytic leukaemia, and low-grade lymphomas. She frequently investigates and treats red blood cell abnormalities such as iron, B12, and folate deficiencies, as well as platelet and white blood cell variations. Additionally, Dr Qureshi specialises in pre-operative haematological health optimisation, iron infusion therapy, and advanced diagnostic investigations including flow cytometry, molecular testing, and genomic profiling.
