I felt that everything was explained well to me and in a way I understood. Each step was explained and made sense. I also felt that I was never rushed or made to feel I am taking up a lot of their time. But they inquired and listened to what I said and used that to help push my diagnoses forward.

I saw Mr McLaughlin-Symon just before Christmas at The Alex for suspected carpal tunnel syndrome. He was very professional and also kind and empathetic and explained all the options really clearly. He recommended some further tests and, after the diagnosis was confirmed, arranged for me to have the surgical procedure straight after Xmas. His PA was brilliant and organised everything so that I spoke to him between Xmas and New Year to finalise all the arrangements. The surgery was straight forward, again, all the aftercare and possible side-effects were explained. I was really happy as it relieved the symptoms and would 100% recommend this doctor to any of my friends or family as I would be confident they were in safe hands.

Mr McLaughlin-Simon diagnosed the problem with my hand and expertly performed a carpal tunnel procedure. He explained the options and risks and I felt very confident about going ahead. The procedure was successful and my hand feels normal again. Shortly afterwards I had a problem with my other hand and that has now been treated successfully. I feel lucky that I was able to be treated by Mr.McLaughlin-Simon and would not hesitate to recommend him if I were to be asked by a friend or family member.
