Dr Hoda Temple has been a Consultant Rheumatologist at the Countess of Chester NHS Foundation Trust since 2016 and is Clinical Lead for Rheumatology. She runs expert clinics in early arthritis, psoriatic arthritis and inflammatory bowel related arthritis. Dr Temple is in charge of service development, modernisation and governance of best practice in rheumatology against best national and international standards.
She has considerable experience treating a wide range of rheumatic disorders such as osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, polymyalgia rheumatica, back pain, fibromyalgia, gout, frozen shoulder and tennis elbow.
Dr Temple has a special interest in managing the whole body with holistic care and has Royal College of Physicians approved training in nutrition and lifestyle. She has also received training as a life coach.
Dr Temple is a member of the British Society for Rheumatology (BSR), Group for Research and Assessment of Psoriasis and Psoriatic Arthritis (GRAPPA), The British Psoriatic Arthritis Consortium (BritPACT) and the British Medical Association (BMA).
She has published on comorbid disease in arthritis and its associated treatments & continues to be active in research. Dr Temple is a principle investigator for several rheumatology trials and observational studies.
