Dr Hatef Mansoubi

Dr Mansoubi is a Consultant Clinical Radiologist with a specialist interest in Cardiothoracic Imaging. They are a member of the European Society of Thoracic Imaging and British Society of Cardiovascular Imaging. Dr Mansoubi is an invited speaker at national and international conferences, including the Royal College of Radiologists meeting and the European Congress of Radiology. They have published in peer-reviewed journals and is currently editor of the British Institute Radiology Journal.

Dr Mansoubi provides expert opinion in thoracic imaging and performs image-guided biopsies, including transthoracic pericardiocentesis. Their expertise across radiology specialises in cardiac CT and MRI. Their work has led to improved safety of lung biopsy and a better understanding of who needs a biopsy. They have also helped significantly reduce the amount of radiation received from chest imaging for thoracic patients.
