Dr Harmit Ghattaura is a dedicated Paediatric Surgeon specialising in the comprehensive surgical care of infants, children, and young adults. Recognising that surgical procedures can be reassuring yet anxiety-inducing for young patients and their families, he delivers empathetic, family-centred care that focuses on safety, clear communication, and physical comfort. Dr Ghattaura works closely alongside multidisciplinary paediatric teams to ensure each patient receives holistic, tailored management from initial diagnosis through to post-operative recovery.

His clinical focus encompasses both general Paediatric Surgery and specialised Paediatric Urology. Dr Ghattaura possesses advanced expertise in endoscopic and laparoscopic procedures, kidney stone management, ureteroscopy, and reconstructive urological surgery. In addition to treating complex congenital and acquired conditions, he maintains a strong clinical interest in transitional care, helping young patients smoothly transition from paediatric surgical services to adult care systems.

Dr Ghattaura earned his Bachelor of Medicine degree prior to completing higher specialist training in Paediatric Surgery and Paediatric Urology. He holds a Master's degree in Surgical Science and Practice from the University of Oxford and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS). To further refine his surgical skills, he completed a British Association of Paediatric Urologists (BAPU) Royal College of Surgeons Senior Clinical Fellowship, alongside specialised clinical fellowships across major tertiary medical centres.
