Dr Haris Ahmed

Dr Haris Ahmed is a highly esteemed and experienced Consultant Endocrinologist. Dr Ahmed possesses a notably high level of expertise in a variety of conditions.

Dr Ahmed completed specialist registrar training in endocrinology and general medicine in the Mersey region in 2013. They are a certified MRCP PACES examiner of the Royal College of Physicians and an honorary senior clinical lecturer at the University of Liverpool. Dr Ahmed has published extensively within established peer-reviewed medical journals and publications. They have also presented posters and oral abstracts at national and international conferences.

Dr Ahmed is a member of the British Diabetic Association (Diabetes UK), the Society for Endocrinology and British Medical Association (BMA). In 2019, Dr Ahmed's antenatal team was awarded the Quality in Care (QiC) diabetes award in the Patient Care Pathway - 'Telemedicine in Improving Care and Outcomes, in Antenatal Diabetes Patients' category. They also received an award for Outstanding Patient Care at Countess of Chester Hospital in 2016.
