Mr Guy Worley is a dedicated Consultant General Surgeon with sub-specialist expertise in colorectal conditions and gastrointestinal health. He provides comprehensive, patient-centred care for individuals experiencing a wide array of general surgical and complex lower bowel disorders. Working in close collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams comprising Gastroenterologists, Anaesthetists, Dieticians, and Specialist Nurses, Mr Worley focuses on achieving optimal health outcomes through detailed investigations and individualised treatment plans.

His clinical interests encompass complex Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD), proctology, intestinal failure, and conditions affecting the perineum and anus, including complex perianal fistulae, anal fissures, and abscesses. Mr Worley routinely performs advanced diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, such as colonoscopy and flexible sigmoidoscopy. His surgical expertise extends to abdominal wall hernia repair, pilonidal disease management, diverticular disease care, and modern techniques like FiLaC laser therapy for anal fistulae, all delivered with an emphasis on safe care and enhanced post-operative recovery.

Mr Worley completed his initial medical qualifications in the United Kingdom, graduating with a Bachelor of Medical Sciences (BMedSci) in 2008 and a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (BMBS) in 2010. Demonstrating a strong commitment to surgical research and academic advancement, he subsequently completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in 2022. He earned his Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS) in 2023.
