Mr Guy Evans

Dr Guy Evans is a Consultant in Sport and Exercise Medicine. He has extensive experience managing athletes at both elite and recreational level. He is currently the Lead Doctor at Bath Rugby Club and is the Chief Medical Officer for the British Swimming team. He worked with the Great Britain Rowing team for seven years and has been to multiple World and European Championships with both GB swimming and rowing teams. Guy is a competitive triathlete himself having raced Ironman Triathlon and representing Great Britain in his age-group at three ITU Long Course World Championships as well as the Ironman World Championships in Kona, Hawaii. He has a particular interest in contact sport injuries, problems related to endurance sports, stress fractures, under-performance issues and overuse injuries. He is experienced at point of care musculoskeletal ultrasound and offers both diagnostic and therapeutic injections in clinic when required.
