Mr Gregory McMahon is a consultant vascular and endovascular surgeon practising at the following locations:
He is also part of the Vascular Surgery team at Glenfield Hospital in Leicester, where he has responsibilities for patient safety, morbidity and mortality procedures.

He has a particular interest in minimally invasive surgery and was the first surgeon to perform percutaneous abdominal aneurysm repair in Leicester. He also has expertise in treatments such as carotid doppler and varicose vein stripping.
Mr McMahon gained his medical degree from the University of Leicester in 2000 before undertaking Vascular Surgery training in the East Midlands. In 2011, he earned an MD for his work on carotid artery disease and has twice been awarded the renowned Sol Cohen (Founder's Prize) by the Vascular Society of Great Britain and Ireland. He later became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England and received training in advanced open and endovascular procedures in New Zealand. Prior to his position at Glenfield Hospital, he was a Consultant Vascular and Endovascular Surgeon at the Royal Derby Hospital.
Mr McMahon is involved in medical education and has lead responsibilities in undergraduate education and lectures on a number of postgraduate national courses. He is also an Honorary Lecturer in Cardiovascular Sciences at the University of Leicester.
