Mr Graham Mccollum

Mr Graham Mccollum is an accomplished Consultant Ophthalmologist who provides expert diagnostic and surgical care for a wide range of visual conditions. He is dedicated to delivering high-quality, patient-centred treatments, ensuring each individual receives tailored care that supports their visual health. Through regular clinical audits and adherence to national quality benchmarks, he maintains exemplary standards across all aspects of his medical and surgical work.

In his clinical practice, Mr Mccollum focuses on advanced cataract management and vitreoretinal surgery. His areas of expertise encompass high-volume and complex cataract surgery, as well as routine and emergency vitreoretinal procedures. He performs a broad range of surgical interventions, including macular hole repairs, epiretinal membrane peels, retinal detachment repairs, and secondary lens implantations, alongside managing general and urgent eye conditions.

Mr Mccollum began his academic training at the University of Leeds, where he gained a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Physiology in 2009. He subsequently earned his medical degree from Hull York Medical School, qualifying as a Doctor in 2012. Following his initial foundation training, he undertook comprehensive higher specialist training in Ophthalmology, which culminated in sub-specialty fellowship training in vitreoretinal surgery. He is affiliated with the Royal College of Ophthalmologists.
