Mr Borg explained each stage of the procedure before it happened, which was very reassuring. He was welcoming and friendly and I felt confident that I would be adequately looked after.

Very professional but did not rush with explanation of procedure

Dr Borg patiently explained the entire process and fielded questions from me and my husband. The surgery itself was carried out by a lady surgeon whose name I now do not recall but she was just as good.

Dr Godfrey Borg immediately put me at my ease with his welcoming friendliness, straightforward explanation of the problem and the intended treatments.

Dr Borg explained the procedure as he went along. I did find the procedure uncomfortable this time. The first time I did not feel anything

No privacy in pre op. All patients spoken to in the waiting area instead of being taken to a separate consult room. Not acceptable, having to discuss personal details in front of others. The light on the equipment failed to work until it was ‘played around with’ for some minutes. Despite asking if it was working properly prior to starting my surgery, no attempt was made to reassure me and to be honest, I was really frightened. This experience has impacted on me post operation.

Excellent experience.

Excellent Dr. Was good at explaining - did feel a bit rushed on first consultation, and needed time to think about whether I wanted the operation as had signed the form really without looking into risks, but totally trusted him to know what he was doing and good explanation at the actual operation
