Mr Voyatzis graduated with a First Class Honours Degree in Medicine from Athens Medical School in Greece in 2000. He then earned a prestigious scholarship to train in ophthalmology in the UK after completing his military service with the Greek Air Force.
He completed his training in London and Cambridge before sub-specialising for an additional two years in complex cataract and corneal surgery at Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge. In 2014, he became a consultant ophthalmic surgeon at Peterborough & Stamford NHS Foundation Trust where he was the clinical lead for the cataract service.
Mr Voyatzis joined the world-renowned Moorfields Eye Hospital in 2018, where he regularly deals with complex cases and treats patients referred from other clinics or hospitals.
