Dr Francesca New is a highly skilled Consultant Urologist who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care across a broad spectrum of urological conditions. Serving as a Clinical Lead within her field, Dr New is committed to delivering individualised treatment plans that prioritise patient comfort, dignity, and optimal health outcomes. Her compassionate, professional approach ensures that patients feel well-informed and fully supported throughout their diagnostic and therapeutic care.

With extensive expertise in core urology, Dr New maintains special clinical interests in female urology, functional urology, and endourology. Her areas of practice encompass the diagnosis and management of complex urinary tract infections, lower urinary tract symptoms, urinary incontinence, bladder dysfunction, and stone disease. Dr New utilises advanced diagnostic endourological techniques, including cystoscopy, to evaluate and treat diverse conditions affecting the urinary system, offering tailored conservative and surgical solutions.

Dr New completed her medical education at the University of Southampton Medical School, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine (BM) degree in 2009. She went on to complete comprehensive postgraduate surgical and urological training, gaining Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons in 2015 and Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons in 2022. Dr New is also an active member of the British Association of Urological Surgeons, maintaining a dedication to high clinical governance standards, ongoing medical research, and continuing professional development.
