Dr Fifydani Shamsudin

Dr Fifydani Shamsudin is a dedicated Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist who provides expert, patient-centred care across women's reproductive health and maternity services. Specialising in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Dr Shamsudin delivers comprehensive care throughout pregnancy, labour, and the postnatal period. Her approach focuses on empowering women with clear information, compassionate support, and high-quality medical management tailored to each individual's healthcare needs.

With specialised expertise in Maternal Medicine and High-Risk Pregnancy, Dr Shamsudin is experienced in managing complex medical conditions that arise during pregnancy. Her areas of clinical focus include pre-eclampsia prevention, foetal well-being, stillbirth prevention strategies, and the management of uterine fibroids in pregnant patients. She is also skilled in acute gynaecological care and emergency obstetric procedures, including Caesarean section deliveries and the clinical management of postpartum haemorrhage.

Dr Shamsudin earned her primary medical degree, obtaining a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (BM BS). She subsequently completed specialist postgraduate training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, becoming a Member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (MRCOG) in 2004. In recognition of her ongoing clinical excellence and commitment to the specialty, she was elected as a Fellow of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FRCOG) in 2016.
