Mr Eric Watson

Mr Eric Watson is an experienced Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist who provides comprehensive, patient-centred care across all aspects of women's reproductive health. Holding key leadership roles as a Clinical Director and Lead for Gynaecological Oncology, he oversees complex clinical pathways and ensures high standards of medical practice. His clinical responsibilities encompass general gynaecology, antenatal consultations, and specialised care for complex reproductive health conditions.

In his gynaecological practice, Mr Watson focuses on the investigation and management of benign gynaecological conditions, pelvic discomfort, menstrual irregularities, abnormal uterine bleeding, and gynaecological cancers. Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, he formulates individualised treatment plans tailored to each patient's clinical needs. His surgical expertise includes keyhole and open operative procedures, diagnostic hysteroscopy, colposcopy, and outpatient gynaecological interventions.

Following rigorous postgraduate medical training in Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Mr Watson gained specialist registration with the General Medical Council. He maintains active professional membership with the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, regularly updating his practice in line with national clinical guidelines. In addition to his clinical work, he plays an active role in clinical governance, multidisciplinary team reviews, and medical education for junior doctors.
