Dr Emma Robinson

Dr Emma Robinson is a dedicated Consultant Diabetologist and Consultant Endocrinologist who provides expert, high-quality care for patients with endocrine and metabolic conditions. Serving in senior leadership as an Assistant Clinical Director, Dr Robinson is deeply committed to delivering person-centred, evidence-based care. She diagnoses and manages a broad spectrum of hormonal and metabolic conditions, supporting patients through structured and individualised management plans to optimise their long-term health.

Her clinical interests cover a wide range of sub-specialties within diabetes and endocrinology, with a particular focus on complex diabetes management. Dr Robinson possesses specialised expertise in diabetic foot care, young adult diabetes services, and modern diabetes technologies, including hybrid closed loop systems. She plays an active role in integrating modern medical advances into daily clinical practice, ensuring patients benefit from cutting-edge treatments alongside multidisciplinary support from specialist nurses and dietitians.

Dr Robinson earned her medical degree (MBBS) and holds Membership of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP). She completed higher specialist training in Endocrinology and Diabetes, qualifying her for placement on the Specialist Register. Alongside her clinical practice, Dr Robinson is actively involved in medical education, teaching, and clinical governance, regularly mentoring medical students and doctors in training to promote high standards of patient care.
