Dr Emma Parish

Dr Emma Parish is a dedicated Consultant Paediatrician specialising in general paediatrics and adolescent health. Driven by a compassionate and patient-centred approach, she provides comprehensive clinical care tailored to infants, children, and young people. Dr Parish works closely with families to ensure every child receives personalised healthcare, addressing both acute medical conditions and long-term developmental needs in a reassuring and supportive environment.

Dr Parish graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) from the University of Dundee in 2008, having previously earned a Bachelor of Medical Science (BMSc Hons) in Applied Orthopaedic Technology in 2006. She became a Member of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health in 2013 and completed formal Specialist Interest (SPIN) training in Adolescent Health with the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health in 2019. Her commitment to professional excellence is further demonstrated through a fellowship in postgraduate medical education and her appointment as a National Medical Director's Fellow with the Faculty of Medical Leadership and Management.

With expertise in adolescent medicine, Dr Parish addresses the distinct health needs of teenagers, supporting young people as they navigate physical, social, and emotional transitions. Her clinical practice spans general paediatric diagnosis and management, safeguarding, and healthcare quality improvement. She actively contributes to professional organisations, serving as secretary for the Young People's Health Specialist Interest Group within the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health.
